Our Website development process.
We pride ourselves in giving our clients what they want and need. In order to achieve this, there is a schedule we follow so that both parties know where we are in the development process and what to expect.
The basic web design stages are -
- Initial Investigation
Even before the start of the design process, all the information you want on your new web site has to be gathered together. This will include any documents, logos, photographs and text. Once this is complete, it will enable the design process to take place.
- Written Quotation
After the initial investigation, a fixed price quotation will be supplied. This price will be valid for 30 days from the date supplied.
- Web site design
Only when the information has been gathered will we start on the design process. This will cover items such as layout, colour scheme and fonts to be used.
- Project Initiation
If you are satisfied with the quote you have recieved, you will initiate the project go ahead by contacting us.
- Refinement of Requirements
- Delivery of required content
You will supply us with all the written content, images,
- Prototype web site
After the design has been agreed by you, the web site will be developed. Upon completion, you will have access to a prototype version of the site. At this stage, and indeed at every stage, your feedback and suggestions for changes or improvement are welcome.
- Final Changes
The feedback and suggestions on the prototype site are agreed upon and any changes that are required will be implemented. Once the satisfaction of both parties has been reached, a "going live" date is agreed.
- Going Live
Your new web site will be uploaded to your hosting site on the agreed date.
- Final Payment
You will recieve a final invoice detailing what you still have outstanding on your account. Payment will be required within 30 days of receipt of your invoice.
